Spanish for GCSE

Curriculum-based learning with exposure to various aspects of Spanish culture.

Our Approach

Pepe and Tete’s approach to teaching Spanish is based on two fundamental principles. First, they believe that appreciating a language’s culture is essential for learning it, so every day is an opportunity to discover something new about Spanish culture, regardless of one’s proficiency level. Second, they emphasize that conversation is the most effective way to learn a language. Whether through practice with native speakers or role-playing, their tutors prioritize speaking as a key method for mastering Spanish.

GCSE Spanish Lessons
Pepe & Tete: GCSE Spanish Programme

The GCSE program is designed to balance curriculum-based learning with exposure to various aspects of Spanish culture. The online setup is specifically tailored to maximize interaction time with native speakers, helping students build confidence through role plays, speaking exercises, and the development of interpersonal communication skills crucial for GCSE Spanish.

The programme is tailored to the UK High School Education system, providing a comprehensive study of the Spanish language. Our private tuition prepares students for the 2016 Spanish GCSE AQA, Edexcel, and IGCSE exams, as well as the new 2024 GCSE exams for AQA and Edexcel.

GCSE Spanish programme

It initially focuses on the four core language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. As students progress through the lessons, they will expand their Spanish vocabulary and deepen their understanding of grammar, enabling them to communicate effectively in various situations. The lessons are structured around the different GCSE topics, offering contexts for vocabulary acquisition and the study of grammar and sentence structures.

To cap it all off, students have an option to spend time in Spain for a full immersion experience during the programme (get in touch for details).

Sandra's club is very popular with the children at Burhill Primary. They love the stimulating and exciting activities she brings and they are learning all the time. Hearing children at the school speaking the Spanish they have learned is fabulous.
