Spanish Study Buddies is an initiative by Pepe and Tete that encourages primary and secondary school students in Surrey to pick up another language. The initiative allows students to share the cost of Spanish group lessons that will be at least 50% subsidised through philanthropic funding.

Objectives:

• Enable as many children as possible to learn a new language as we believe that children who study languages are generally more imaginative and more flexible in their thought processes.
• Help bridge the learning gap between those that can afford private tuition and those that cannot.
• Foster a culture of team work and sharing resources. It’s our belief that peer interactions can significantly improve attitudes to learning.
